Education

Education Verification

Verification of high school graduation or GED is required. Applicants are responsible for requesting official transcripts from their graduating institution to be mailed to: Admissions, Institute of Integrated Therapies, 3707 Charlestown Road, Suite C2, New Albany, Indiana 47150 — or by official school email to applications@BeAnLmt.com

Age and Health Attestation

I attest that I am at least 18 years of age and in good physical health. I understand that therapeutic massage and bodywork training is physically, emotionally, and psychologically challenging.

I further attest that I am not currently pregnant and do not plan to conceive during the training period. The policy intent is not to discriminate against any population. It is designated for the health and safety of both mother and unborn child.

Interview Agreement

I agree to attend a scheduled in-person interview to further determine eligibility.

Criminal Background Check Authorization

I understand that I (applicant) am responsible for obtaining a state and federal criminal background check, and I have been provided instructions on how to request these documents. I further understand that state licensure requirements vary by state and I may incur the cost of another criminal background check to comply with those requirements.

Financial Responsibility Agreement

I understand the $150.00 application fee is nonrefundable and is the financial responsibility of the applicant.

Clinical Suitability and Nondescrimination Statement

The Institute of Integrated Therapies reserves the right to deny enrollment to any applicant in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of the State of Indiana, institutional policies, and professional and ethical standards governing therapeutic education and practice.

The Institute does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law. This nondiscrimination policy applies to all aspects of the Institute's educational programs, admissions decisions, and Institute-administered activities.

Admissions decisions are made using a holistic review process that may include consideration of an applicant's ability to safely, ethically, and effectively participate in clinical training, meet program requirements, and engage in professional practice standards. The Institute may deny enrollment when, based on available information, admission would pose a risk to client safety, the learning environment, or the applicant's own well-being, or when required clinical competencies cannot reasonably be met, with or without reasonable accommodation.

All admissions practices are conducted in compliance with applicable federal nondiscrimination laws, including but not limited to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as well as all applicable State of Indiana requirements.
